Public app description

Daily Organiser bot

A private household log. The Google consent screen name entered for this app is Daily Organiser bot. In the house the same log is called Daily Organiser. It is not a chat.

App addresses

These are the public addresses for Daily Organiser bot. The privacy policy address on this page is the one that belongs on the Google consent screen, character for character.

What the app does

Daily Organiser keeps household tasks, commitments, and a morning brief. With a personal Google calendar connected, that brief can list today’s appointment titles and times. The list is read from Google Calendar. The app does not create, edit, or delete those events.

Each line on the brief is the event title, or the word Busy when Google sends no title, and a local time or the words All day. The appointments section says: “Read only. This is not a calendar.”

There is no month grid and no public sign-up. These pages do not ask you to sign in, and they do not start a Google consent screen.

What Google Calendar is used for

The connection is read-only. The scopes named in the source are:

The intended calendar is the primary personal calendar. The software can also keep a calendar the operator adds by name in settings. Google’s events scope is worded more widely than “today on the primary calendar”. The privacy policy explains that difference.

This app does not run a Google sign-in callback. A client id, a client secret, and a refresh token are supplied from outside the app. The app uses that refresh token to ask Google for a short-lived access token, then reads the calendar.

The household app is separate

The household app is already on the web at https://organiser.apidiscoverysolution.uk. That address is not a link on this page. Opening it asks for a household access check. It is not this description, and it is not a Google sign-in.

This description is meant to stay public. The household app is meant to stay behind that access check. Nothing on this page is the app, its data, or its program files.

Who operates it

The operator is Mykola Konovalov. The log is for the household. It is not offered here as a service other people can join.

Privacy policy

The privacy policy describes how this software accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google calendar data, including what a revoke at Google does not delete.
